You can find your head size by using a tape measure to measure your head circumference. Most wigs are only made in Women's Average size, which fits most people. A limited amount of select styles are available in Petite and Large sizes. Most wigs have adjustable straps which can compromise 1/2" larger or smaller to secure the wig. Your best-fitted wig size should fit snug and comfortably on your head. If your measurements are between sizes or do not match exactly to the chart, we suggest selecting the larger size that is closest to your measurement. You may refer to the size chart pictured below. Cap size varies by brand.
Measuring your head:
1. Around the head: Measure the total circumference of your head by placing the end of the tape measure at your front hairline (your hairline is usually 4 fingers-width above your eyebrows) and wrapping the tape measure along your hairline to behind your ear, along your nape, behind the other ear and back to your front hairline.
2. Front to Nape: Measure from the middle of the front hairline, vertically straight across along the top hairline, over the crown to the back of the head.
3. Ear to Ear: Start at the front of one ear where your front hairline ends and bring the tape measure horizontally across your head to the front of the other ear.
