SMARTLACE: The Evolution of Lace Front Wigs
Jon Renau SmartLace Collection combines innovative styles with comfort and realism. Designed with persnickety attention to detail, each wig's hairline is hand tied to a welded lace, which is pre-cut and ready to wear without the risk of unraveling or losing its shape. Perfectly snug and aligned with your natural hairline, the SmartLace front becomes practically invisible. Available in an expansive variety of styles - pixies, shags, bobs, bohemian waves, long layers, and trendy angled cuts - SmartLace wigs provide a secure, comfortable fit and a superbly natural appearance.

We recommend washing your wig every 6-8 wears

  • Before washing your wig, gently remove any tangles with your Jon Renau paddle brush or Jon Renau wide tooth comb

  • Hold wig or hairpiece under cool running water. Gently lather the hair with a capful of Shampoo while making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling

  • Rinse thoroughly in cool water until the water runs clear

  • Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat dry

  • Gently detangle hair using your Jon Renau wide tooth comb

  • Spray with Leave-In Conditioning Spray (3-5 pumps) keeping away from base of wig or hairpiece

  • Allow wig or hairpiece to air dry naturally by placing on a plastic or wire wig stand. DO NOT blow dry

  • Styling is very easy with your Jon Renau wig or hairpiece. We recommend simply using your fingertips or wig brush/comb for your desired style

  • If fullness is desired, gently backcomb hair using your wig or hairpiece brush/comb, then smooth the surface hair over and apply Holding Spray

  • DO NOT use heat to style synthetic fiber (curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers)

  • Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e. open oven, heater, etc.) Excessive heat can damage the fiber

  • We recommend using Jon Renau HD Smooth with your Jon Renau wide tooth comb to detangle your synthetic wig. This is especially important with the mid-length to long length wigs

    Petite Alila

I am a first time wig user, and this one is my favorite. I am very self-concious about wearing a wig, so I tried out quite a few. This one fit best and looks completely natural. Two thumbs up! Thanks for carrying such a nice product. I'll re-order this one for sure.

    Alia Wig

Absolutely love, love, love this wig. I developed alopecia due from stress, chronic stress (husband has incurable bone marrow cancer), plus working full time, and we also have a small farm. I became burned out, beyond burned out. I wear this wig to work every day. Women ask me "who cuts your hair'?? It's beautiful. I'm up front and tell them it's a wig...They can't believe how real it looks. Maybe some day my real hair will grow back, if not, oh well, it's not the end of the world. My hair does not define who I am. Life is good!!
