Before washing your wig, gently remove any tangles with your Jon Renau paddle brush or Jon Renau wide tooth comb
Hold wig or hairpiece under cool running water. Gently lather the hair with a capful of Shampoo while making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling
Rinse thoroughly in cool water until the water runs clear
Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat dry
Gently detangle hair using your Jon Renau wide tooth comb
Spray with Leave-In Conditioning Spray (3-5 pumps) keeping away from base of wig or hairpiece
Allow wig or hairpiece to air dry naturally by placing on a plastic or wire wig stand. DO NOT blow dry
Styling is very easy with your Jon Renau wig or hairpiece. We recommend simply using your fingertips or wig brush/comb for your desired style
If fullness is desired, gently backcomb hair using your wig or hairpiece brush/comb, then smooth the surface hair over and apply Holding Spray
DO NOT use heat to style synthetic fiber (curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers)
Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e. open oven, heater, etc.) Excessive heat can damage the fiber
We recommend using Jon Renau HD Smooth with your Jon Renau wide tooth comb to detangle your synthetic wig. This is especially important with the mid-length to long length wigs
after completely frying my hair at a salon (which i'll never be going to again), this style looked very siimilar to what I had previously. The lace front is TOTALLY sheer and it seems as if those hairs are growing right out of your head. This may sound sort of weird, but I'm kind of happy that my hair fried off because now I know how lace front wigs are so natural and beautifully designed!
The Zara is a beautiful wig. I got the color 24BT18S8, which is a dark blonde with golden blonde highlights and darker roots (light brownish). It is super natural looking, but I had to cut off 5" to get it to suit me; also, I had to thin out the crown area because it looked a bit puffy - but I have a small head so this might not be an issue with others. All in all, a lovely piece. Will try the Gisele next time, and maybe the Julia by Jon Renau as they are shorter, and I won't have to customize as much!
This is my first full lace cap wig and I do really like how it looks in the front. Very realistic part and scalp. The hair is not too shiney and I like that I can part it down the middle or on the side (or a zig zag). The only downsides to Zara are the #6 color (chestnut) is still very, very dark brown (I would say closer to a #4 dark brown), and it slides back on my head, so I sewed in some clips. Oh, and the hair tangles like crazy. I did have about 3 inches cut off in length which helped a lot and didn't take away from the look of very long hair. Overall, I would buy this wig again, but would go for a "mixed" color rather than a solid color.
please tell how you get your hair underneath to lay flat?
It's a nice wig.
